Itinerary for Hanuman Garh Trek.
Morning drive to Channa from Bir (22 km/1 hr and 30 min)
Morning meet us at 0800 hrs at given meeting point (Camp Oak View or Your stay location or Chougan Chowk/)
and Drive to Channa which is 22 km/1 hr and 30 min drive from Bir.
Channa to Hanuman Garh (9 km / 5 hr, 10500 fts.) – Snow at some spots during trek from Dec to last week of March.
Start trek with gaining some instant height to reach Saptwadini Devi Temple. Trekking is considered easy to Moderate. Trek is passing through dense forest of Deodara, Rhododendron, blue pine, green Oak, brown Oak and silver fir trees. Easy trek for 1 hr to reach water sourse point Ridge and then uphill trek for 1 hr to Reach Top point Hanuman Garh which is 10500 ft from sea level. Hanuman Garh provides view of 360 degree, one side Himalayan Range and other side Kangra valley. Later start trek to Channa Ghat mod to reach vehicle, takes 2 hr.
Drive Channa Pass to Camp Oak View, Bir. (22 km/ 1 hr 30 min, drive)
Drive from Channa to Bir, reach Bir and transfer to Camp Oak View or Hotel or any other drop point in Bir,
Hanuman Garh Trek, stay at Camp Oak View Bir Billing at Himachal Pradesh.
Meet us at Chougan Chowk, Or Pick you from Hotel where you stay or from Camp Oak View .
Time to Start is 0800 hrs .
Meet Guide and start drive.
Be ready before time with - Small back pack (bag) carrying Jacket, Cap, waterbottle, spare socjks, umbrella, proper sports shoes, hiking stick if required.
Drive is 22 km and takes 90 min to trach Channa which is starting point of Trek.
1st reach Channa ridge for open view and then small hike till Saptdevi temple.
Start trek again for 1 hr through forest of brown Oak, Devdara, tosh there are small pools during trek .
Trek is over rodge so view on both side of valley.
You can experience snow from mid Dec to last week of March.
Reach at water source known as fukdi and start uphill trek to top, this art is tough and takes minimum 1 hr .
Reach at Top, relax, experience view from top. Bow to lord Hanumana and return to lower ridge
Lunch here and later return to Chann on same trek
Board cab and return to Bir via Billing
